01 / Before you begin
Delete the account, not just the app.
Uninstalling Unveiled does not delete its automatically created anonymous account or a linked account. A completed request permanently removes the account and ordinary Unveiled data controlled by us.

The response is deliberately the same whether or not an email is attached to an account. No new account will be created.
Use a deletion recovery code
The 32-character code is available from Manage Account in Unveiled. It is used once and is never placed in a support ticket.

You may close this page. Server deletion continues, and this browser can check progress for seven days.

Active Unveiled data and authentication have been removed. Bounded backups and non-content control records age out under the policy below.
03 / What happens
Permanent in active systems. Deliberate about the edges.
Removed
Projects, words, practice and voice records, Daily Recall history, profile and settings, app-owned entitlement state, recovery credentials, linked identity state, and the Supabase authentication account.
Handled separately
Apple and Google keep their own transaction records. Deletion does not create a refund. A one-time purchase may be restored after you explicitly create or sign in to one replacement account and choose Restore Purchases.
Outside our control
Files you exported, copies on inaccessible offline devices until they reconnect, and records held independently by app stores or required processors are not erased from those external locations.
04 / Timing and recovery
The account stays closed while deletion finishes.
Active-system deletion begins immediately after ownership proof and confirmation. Other signed-in devices are fenced from new writes and remove their local account data after authoritative online detection.
Backups and pseudonymous deletion-safety records age out on bounded schedules. A verified support request has a target of seven calendar days; pre-proof assistance starts with the verification step.
After success, Unveiled stays account-free. Start Fresh creates a separate anonymous identity; the deleted account is not recreated automatically.

Support cannot delete an anonymous account when both the signed-in session and deletion recovery code are unavailable. Account knowledge, project quotations, screenshots, and receipts are not substitutes for ownership proof.
